Great news for Capone Supporters!   Today in court, his owners and defense team were able to get their dog back.  However, this resulted in them reaching a plea deal with the City of Aurora.  This comes just days after DNA tests came back showing that he is not a wolf hybrid.  We will have more details on this breaking story soon!

  • This was truly Small Government Over Reach!! I don’t remember all of the particulars of this case ~ But it gave Capone’s human a lot of sleepless nights. I will be waiting to hear of any “conditions” associated with his “parole”.

  • What conditions? Capone and his owners were harassed period period period had many sleepless nights period period period good Capone probably freaked out not being in his own home every night… The stress on his owners must have been crazy… I know it would have been for me …period period period the only condition should be that this governmental agency never messes with Capone again… Shut the front door

  • WHAT…?? CONDITIONS PROBABLY COME ON THE HEELS OF THE ABSOLUTE EMBARRASSMENT OF HAVING TAKEN THIS FAMILY DOG FROM HIS LOVED ONES …EXTREMELY UNJUSTLY !!! OH WELL…JUST TAKE COMFORT IN THE BOLD FACTS OF THE DNA RESULT, AND THE OTHER FACT THAT THEY SHOULD BE HUMILIATED FOR THEIR MAJOR SCREW-UP !!! CONGRATS TO CAPONE AND FAMILY !!!

  • This should never have happened in the first place. Who was the brilliant person who assessed Capone as a wolf-dog and why did Aurora react so fast on this person’s say-so. If the dog never caused problems with biting or aggression why all the hub-bub. If there was a problem in the first place, a DNA test should have been done before such action as removing Capone out of the family home.
