It is hard to say whether or not the movement to stop dogs like Pitbulls from roaming freely has been effective or not, many locations, including Montreal have stopped the ban, also know as BSL in most locations.   

BSL, is a way to group several breeds of “aggressive” dogs together and increase negative awareness about them.  Although it is true that numerous incidents appear in the news often and shed negative light on these animals, if one looks into any of these stories, it comes down to how the pet was raised and what led the animal to go off the day of the event.  There is always a trigger for everything, those that are voiceless should find strength in our supporters.
